Scanner Mate Scan :
When checked ScannerMate will scan though the selected airports frequencies as long as they are selected in the list box below. In the example above ATIS will not be included in the scan.
The frequencies are sent from ScannerMate, to the scanner and as such don't have to be in the scanners memory banks.

Scanner Scan :
When this is checked ScannerMate sends a "Scan" command to the scanner, the scanner will scan its currently selected memory banks. ScannerMate currently selected airport frequencies are not used.

Scan Rate :
This is the time in milliseconds (500 = half of a second), ScannerMate waits on a frequency for a signal, before stepping to the next enabled frequency in the list.

Contact Time :
Contact time is the time (in scan rate units) that ScannerMate will wait on an active frequency (squelch is open) before stepping to next enabled frequency in list.
eg. If Scan Rate = 500 and Contact time = 30, ScannerMate will wait for 500*30 milliseconds, that is 15 seconds before stepping on.

Skip Button :
Pressing the Skip button will cause ScannerMate to step to the next enabled frequency in the list

Scanner Type :
Uniden/Barecat only at this time.

Comms. Port :
Port Number displays the Select Com Port Dialog with a list of available serial ports.
Port Properties displays then Com Port Properties Dialog (Not normally required).
Re-Start Port will re-start the com port (Not normally required).
